When your project scales, you can group page designs using flows to organize them. You can use flows to group pages by:
Product area (e.g.. Onboarding, Profile, Settings)
Status (e.g. Explorations, In progress, In review, Ready for dev)
Feature state (e.g. empty state, error state, loading state)
Creating flows
By default, your pages are not part of any flow. This section is always at the top of your Pages.
From the Pages page, click New flow.
From the Pages panel in the editor, click + and select New flow.
Renaming flows
From the Pages page, click on the flow name to edit.
From the Pages panel in the editor, click ••• and select Rename flow to edit.
Reordering flows
The order of pages and flows is reflected in Pages and the Pages panel in the editor. Pages not part of a flow are always at the top.
Use the drag handles to move a flow up or down.
Adding pages to flows
From the Pages page, click the + thumbnail to add a page to the end of the flow.
Alternatively, click on ••• next to the flow name and select Add page.
From the Pages panel in the editor, click ••• and select Add page.
Previewing flows
The order of pages inside of a flow determines their order in preview mode. Use preview to create simple prototypes for a flow.
From the Pages page, click on ••• next to the flow name and select Preview flow.
From the Pages panel in the editor, click ••• and select Preview flow. The preview will start from the from the first page.
In the editor, click Preview from any page. Use the arrows in the preview toolbar to switch between pages in the flow.
Click on the flow name in the preview toolbar to switch to a different flow.
Note: it's not currently possible to link flows or pages together. Reach out to request this feature for building more advanced prototypes.
