Edit designs, navigate to pages, and generate content in context.

Subframe gives you the full capabilities you need to design your product UI in a simple, intuitive user experience. The command action menu (cmd+k) gives you the control you need in context in a searchable interface.

Navigation

If you want to quickly navigate in Subframe, you can do so from any page using the command menu.

  1. Press cmd + k to open the command action menu.

From here you can search and navigate to:

  • Product areas

    • Templates

    • Components

    • Theme

    • Installation

    • Quickstart

  • Pages in your project

    • Create new page

  • Components in your project

    • Create new component

  • Settings

    • Team members

    • Projects

    • Billing


Editor

From the editor, the command menu lets you control almost any property of a page or component, letting you design in-context faster than ever.

Page-level

In addition to navigating to pages and components, you can set

  1. Deselect all layers.

  2. Press cmd + k to open the command action menu.

From here you can additionally control page-level settings like:

When you select a element in the editor, you can use the command action menu to modify its design. The commands available map to the actions available in the Properties cards on the right.

  1. Select an element in the editor or layer in the Layers panel.

  2. Press cmd + k to open the command action menu in context.

    1. Alternatively, you can right-click to open the menu.

From here you can edit the properties of the element:
